After closing time, bakeries throw away unsold bread every day. Workers at bakeries do not have the time to deliver to various places around the city, this is the reason why many bakeries throw away perfectly fine bread each night. That is why we started this organization, to be the middlemen in this situation. Instead of going to waste, this bread can be given to people who have empty stomachs.

My name is Ethan. My sister, Rachael, founded Movebread.org in 2015. The idea is to recruit volunteers to deliver unsold bread from bakeries to charities. After Rachael went to college, I continued her effort to deliver bread. Since 2015, we have delivered more than 80,000 buns to charities.
